Suggested Solution to Reduced Air Quality

Although the Canadian government claims to prioritize reducing the effects of climate change, there is still much that needs to be done. Over the years human kind has realized there is no simple solution for a complex problem like poor air quality or climate change, but as outlined above, there are still many things that can be done to mitigate the effects of climate change. Since emissions from traffic is the number one contributor to air pollution, I believe the best solution is for the government to implement regulations to phase out vehicles powered by fossil fuels. From researching other countrie’s initiatives, this seems to be the most sensible and efficient solution. Since this initiative has already been implemented into other countries with ease, I believe it would also be very successful in Canada.
